Recap - The Pens lost to the Rangers last night, in nearly embarrasing fashion, by the score of 5-2. Pens goals scored by Ruutu and Staal. Conklin was very shaky in goal letting in a couple early that should have been stopped and the many mistakes in the defensive zone proved costly.
The Pens were flat in the first allowing NY to go up 2 -0. After intermission Pittsburgh was able to rally and tie the game at two but the Rangers soon put their third goal on the scoreboard and never really allowed the Pens close to getting another.
Next Up - Tampa Bay visits the Igloo, Thursday 3/20 at 7:30 pm. FSN (HD) and the X.
